This recently opened tourist site is an incredible getaway to rest by the sea. It is a destination only accessible by road, in six hours from Rangoon. Once there, about fifteen kilometers of beaches of white sand, virtually virgins, will await you.
Rangoon – Pathein – Ngwesaung
You will be picked up at your hotel in Rangoon in the morning, and will make a five-hour drive to Pathein, this gateway town to Ngwesaung Beach will mark the beginning of your stay, made of beach and rest.
Ngwesaung is still considered a hidden gem, and takes its name from its silver sandy beach, which will enchant you for its tranquility. The notion of time is easily lost when one lies on the edge of these magnificent waters of the Bay of Bengal. Twice a day, when the sea level is suitable, you can walk to “the island of lovers”, and leave you “shipwrecked” until the next low tide.
You can also take a boat to one of the neighboring islands or go fishing on the high seas before enjoying what you have captured during the day. At nightfall, you will have a drink around a campfire on the beach and let your worries drift into the starry sky.
You will leave your hotel in the morning to reach Rangoon and be deposited in another of your choice
